Armed Customer Stops Shooting at Alabama McDonald’s

Employees at a McDonald’s in Birmingham, Alabama were preparing to close Saturday (October 27th, 2018) when a masked man stepped in and began firing his gun. While others hid (one employee hid in the freezer), an armed customer leaving the building pulled his own gun and fired at the shooter, injuring him. There were three injured: the shooter, the armed customer, and his son. All three were taken to nearby Princeton Hospital. Gab.com Hosting Provider Terminates Service

Gab CEO Andrew Torba announced late Saturday night (October 27th, 2018) via his Gab account and the Gab Twitter account that the hosting provider of Gab, Joyent (a company owned by Samsung), has decided to terminate its contract with Gab by 9am on Monday. Joyent does not appear to clarify the specifics of the violation of the Terms of Service. Gab Banned From Paypal Following Synagogue Shooting

According to Gab.com CEO Andrew Torba, PayPal terminated its contract with Gab today (Saturday, October 27th, 2018). PayPal’s decision may have been influenced by the discovery of synagogue shooter Robert Bower’s use of Gab. If the shooting did play a role in the decision, this would be unusual for PayPal, considering it has not terminated a contract with other social media platforms that the gunman used, nor has it ever done so with prior violent criminals. On Saturday, October 27th, 2018, 46yo gunman Robert Bowers opened fire at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, killing 11 and injuring six, including four police officers. One of the largest pro-liberty meme pages on Facebook, Liberty Memes, was unpublished by Facebook on October 22nd, 2018. The admins of Liberty Memes can still be found on a backup page called Dank Liberty Memes and have posted various ways to support Liberty Memes. Liberty Memes does manage a Facebook group (titled Liberty Memes Community Group) and a rarely-active Twitter page, @Liberty_Memes.
