Gab CEO Andrew Torba announced late Saturday night (October 27th, 2018) via his Gab account and the Gab Twitter account that the hosting provider of Gab, Joyent (a company owned by Samsung), has decided to terminate its contract with Gab by 9am on Monday. Gab Banned From Paypal Following Synagogue Shooting

According to Gab.com CEO Andrew Torba, PayPal terminated its contract with Gab today (Saturday, October 27th, 2018). PayPal’s decision may have been influenced by the discovery of synagogue shooter Robert Bower’s use of Gab. If the shooting did play a role in the decision, this would be unusual for PayPal, considering it has not terminated a contract with other social media platforms that the gunman used, nor has it ever done so with prior violent criminals.
