Jeff Sessions Resigns as Attorney General

Jeff Sessions, (now former) U.S. Attorney General, has submitted his resignation letter, according to the Associated Press. In a tweet, President Trump states that Matthew Whitaker, Chief of Staff to Jeff Sessions, will temporarily take his place until a more permanent replacement can be found.
